The Grand Tour... has begun

The St. Louis Public Library and the Campbell House Museum are proud to set sail on a nineteenth-century adventure as they partner to present "The Grand Tour" Exhibition, in Central Library's Great Hall, 1301 Olive Street, June 11 through August 22. Visitors to the Library can explore Europe and exotic locales via an exhibit drawn from the Library's rich collection of postcards, maps, travel guides, and photographs. The exhibit incorporates the story of the Campbells, a prominent St. Louis family who embarked on their own Grand Tour in 1867. Mementos from the Campbell House collection, including items from the family's frequent travels, will complement the exhibit. The Library's exhibition is FREE and open to the public.
